INFORM – INSPIRE – ENABLE Our VisionAn equitable world where women and girls share equally in power and decision making and have equal opportunity to fulfil their potential. Our Focus
Who We AreWe are an education-focussed not-for-profit organisation that facilitates gender-sensitive practice within the social investment and grant-making sector. We also foster a greater investment in women and girls. Both strategies are proven models for creating more effective social investments and outcomes, which ultimately creates a more equitable society for all. Established in 2009, our growing Network consists of social investors and grant-makers who value these principles and practices, as well as supporters from government, corporate and community sectors. What We DoWe present the facts about women’s disadvantage and the effectiveness of funding women and girls while also raising the profile of women’s funds and projects which empower women. We do not raise funds nor give grants, we catalyse funding for and investment in women and girls. What We BelieveWe support and participate in the shift in global consciousness that recognises the importance of allowing women and men to equally create and contribute to positive social change within their communities. We believe that by acknowledging the socially-constructed differences between women/girls and men/boys, and using gender analysis as a tool for intelligent inquiry, that all projects and social investments can lead to more equitable and long-lasting outcomes for all. What We ValueOur mission is grounded in what we value:
